A Computer Tool for Modelling CO2 Emissions in Driving Cycles for Spark Ignition Engines Powered by Biofuels

A driving cycle is a record intended to reflect the regular use of given type vehicle, presented as speed profile recorded over certain period time. It used for assessment engine pollutant emissions, fuel consumption analysis and environmental certification procedures. Different cycles are used, depending on region world. In addition, drive by car manufacturers optimize vehicle drivelines. The basis work in manuscript was developed computer tool using tests Toyota Camry LE 2018 chassis dynamometer, results optimization process neural network structures properties fuels biofuels. As result tool, petrol 95, ethanol, methanol, DME, CNG, LPG CO2 emissions question were analyzed following tests: Environmental Protection Agency (EPA US06 EPA USSC03); Supplemental Federal Test Procedure (SFTP); Highway Fuel Economy Driving Schedule (HWFET); (FTP-75–EPA); New European Cycle (NEDC); Random Low (×05); High (×95); Mobile Air Conditioning (MAC TP); Common Artemis Cycles (CADC–Artemis); Worldwide Harmonized Light-Duty Vehicle (WLTP).
